From Saarbrücken or Frankfurt take the A6. At the Neunkirchen motorway interchange, take the A8 towards Pirmasens/Zweibrücken to the Contwig exit. The airport is then signposted.

Regional trains stop at Zweibrücken station. There are connections to Saarbrücken and Kaiserslautern. Homburg station (12 km away) also has ICE trains. Saarbrücken, which is 40 km away, has a "Eurostation".

Bus number 199 runs between Saarbrücken main train station and Zweibrücken Airport from Monday to Saturday at 6:50 and Monday to Friday and Sunday at 17:50. Bus number 199 runs between the Zweibrücken Airport terminal building and Saarbrücken main train station from Monday to Saturday at 08:40 and Monday to Friday and Sunday at 19:40.
