Are there any check-in machines?
In Cologne, passengers travelling with hand baggage only can check in conveniently at the automatic check-in machines when travelling to the following destinations:
Athens, Barcelona, Berlin-Schönefeld, Birmingham, Bologna, Dresden, Faro, Helsinki, Ibiza, Leipzig, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Munich, Nice, Oslo, Palma, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, Verona, Vienna.
Even when you use the self check-in service, you may only take hand baggage with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm with you on board. Larger and heavier pieces of luggage must be checked in at the desk.
